Religion has tended to create people who think they have God in their pockets, people with quick, easy, glib answers - Richard Rohr

At St David's Uniting Church situated at the Corner of Burke and Mont Albert Roads, Canterbury, we are committed to nourishing this hunger and to doing so in ways which are progressive, inclusive and inspiring. Whats new in the Habitat? |
|
At St David's this year we are going to be entering in to a new cycle
of Monthly Mantra in the Habitat. In practical terms this means that
our Sunday morning gathering will take up a different format and theme
depending on where we are in the month. It's going to look a little
like this:
1st Sunday: Eucharistic Ritual..Join us in this ancient sacrement as
we become the mystical body of God.
2nd Sunday: Open Heart. We all connect into Spirit in different ways.
Come and feed your own desire while exposing yourself to a myriad of
prayer traditions.
3rd Sunday: Seed Sunday. Listen as others on The Way share with you
from their own pathways
4th Sunday: Progressive Passions. Join us for deepening conversation
in sacred space.
CHILDRENS SACRED SPACE
As a sign of our commitment to the spiritual nurture of children we
are delighted to welcome Blake Fox to the St David's ministry team.
Blake will be working with our children on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of
the month. The parental roster will continue on the alternate Sundays.
MUSIC for the Soul
Ever wanted to open your heart in holy harmony? Come an join us every
wed night in May at 7.30 in the church as we learn gospel music to
bring into the sunday sacred space.
